WELCOME! I am a professional musical director, arranger, conductor, accompanist and educator with 40 years of professional experience and credits (see resume for details). I have a lifelong passion for teaching and creating music, and my studio is a creative, safe, and fertile environment for studying music.

I provide lessons in voice and piano, theory, harmony, counterpoint, and functional piano. I have taught in university music programs and theatre programs, and often prepare professional performers as well students for examinations, roles, auditions and concerts. I hold a Bachelor of Music in performance, with a theatre performance/collaboration/educator background that has given me extensive experience with a variety of styles of music. My studio is a lively, positive training space, and many of my clients are working/ studying internationally in music and theatre. No matter the goals, it is important to me that all clients retain a love for exploring and discovering music.

I am a seasoned accompanist and arranger, playing everything from extended vocal techniques in 21st century music, to Mozart, to pop, musical theatre and some jazz, and back again.  Collaboration is my element, and in my lessons, we work as equal partners to achieve your goals.
